Stuck 627 cylinder

Cylinder will not budge, took off face plate, bolt moves freely. Problem appears to be inside the cylinder. How do I get at this? I’ve added oil and wiggled and wiggled and wiggled. Your thoughts pls

Check to make sure the extractor rod hasn't come unscrewed. If it has tighten it up and cylinder should release.

Check to see if you had a squib. If so use a range rod of brass to gently hammer it back in.

Do not use a wooden dowel. I've see too many break and you risk getting a very large splinter in your arm.

Also, get a rubber mallet and tap the cylinder. This should get it out.
