Schofield .38s

I've got a Uberti Schofield in .38 cal, but I'm loading slightly heavier 158 gr SWC lead bullets (only because I have 1000s available).

Many shooter use Unique, but an old fella at the local gun club introduced me to Hodgdon Universal, and I've had great results with this powder ranging from 4.0 to 5.0 grains in the .38 case. After I switched from using Unique as I did before, I found that Universal burns slightly cleaner and it's not as sensitive to the position of the powder in the case, which is helpful in light/target loads.

Check out Hodgdon's website for reloading data.

Tight groups.
