I just bought a Ruger Super Blackhawk in 44 mag. When shooting the cylinder pin sometimes moves foward during recoil and locks up the action (until I push it back). Is there a way to stop this from happening? Does anyone make a more firm or sturdy cylinder pin release button?

Make sure the pin is fully seated before firing the gun; this isn't the no-brainer it might seem. If it still slips out, try:

Glockorama, you could certainly replace the pin with an aftermarket pin. But I would send it back to Ruger and make them take care of it. This should not happen. It's a quality control problem. George
