How do you clean a choke?

Does anyone have any good ideas about cleaning the choke? including
plastic...

On fixed chokes, I just use what I'm using on the bbl. Tubes get taken out and done separately.

I just leave the choke tube in the barrel when I clean the barrel. That way, the choke is always clean. And I don't clean the choke lube off the threads.
If I use more than one choke on an outing, I'll clean the barrel with one, then swap chokes, then clean the other tube in the barrel.

I use a rag and an old toothbrush. Soak a patch in Hoppe's and swirl it around with the toothbrush while holding the tube with a rag. Then use a dry patch to remove the crud. Repeat untill patch comes out clean.If I need to remove plastic buildup I use a 10 ga brush in a short pistol cleaning rod. Since I have about 14 or so chokes for my K80 cleaning can take a while although I do not use all of the chokes every time I shoot. I usually clean the BBLs with cylinder chokes screwed in, makes it easier to clean.

Of course, cleaning them in the gun works also.
