Bad vendor alert!----BOTACH TACTICAL

I usally try not to stir the pot or ruffle any feathers (I'm kind of a MMOB guy), but I've recently had a very bad experience with an online vendor.

I know that the firearm industry (especially the AR-15 type stuff) has been extremely caotic lately, what with the long back orders and panic buying. But I went ahead and placed an order with http://www.botachtactical.com/. Of course I expected a delay in shipping. A few days later, I tried to email them to add a couple of items to my order, but got no response. I wait a couple days and try again, and again, no response. Long story short, over the last three weeks, I've emailed them 5 times and called twice, with no luck. I'm pretty ****** by now and emailed one more time to tell them about and to cancel my order. Finally, I recieve a response saying nothing more than "sorry for the delay, your order is canceled. Complete BS!

My point: Avoid Botach Tactical because their customer service sucks!

Yeah, I think if you would have checked other threads on BT, you would have found this pattern already. They are usually great when the have the product in stock and you do best to call an verbally verify a product is in stock and place the order over the phone. Otherwise, you end up in your boat.

I have always had good luck with them, as have several of my friends. I guess it is just hit or miss.

I probably wouldn't be turned off to them if they would have taken two minutes and returned at least one of my emails. I understand they're busy, but ignoring me for three weeks is unacceptable. I didn't mention this earlier, but one of the times I called, they put me on hold for over 15 minutes, and then they hung up on me. Call #2 resulted in a voice mail that they didn't bother responding to either.

Here's an example of what I expect: I have an another order in with www.tradingpostsupply.com and did the exact same thing with them (email to add item to order). The guy had a response in my inbox the very next day politely saying that it was taken care of and would ship as soon as it was in stock.

Another great vendor, www.bravocompanyusa.com not only shipped very quickly, but they emailed me a confirmation of the order, and a shipping notification w/ tracking.

You get my point I hope....

Right, as you said, their customer service sucks, and as noted in several threads, this is especially true if there is a problem or the order isn't getting filled.

Thanks for the warning, I have use Botach in the past with good results I guess as with some merchants "Caveat emptor" applies.
