Anyone shot the new Olympic Arms Wolverine?
I have a nice tax refund this year and am considering buying a new plaything,,,
I have to admit I am enamored of the Buck Rogers look of the Wolverine. Actually I'm considering a matching pair of .22 Semi's,,, Just for use as a range toy when I take guests to go plinking. I know I could get a pair of Ruger or Beretta pistols for about the same price,,, I just want to ahve something different as long as they are not P's-o-S. I remember shooting one of the originals when I was a kid,,, Of course I don't remember much past the event itself,,, But I still think those guns are way cool looking. Has anyone actually laid hands on or shot one of the new ones?,,, I surely would appreciate a first hand account on how the new ones perform. Aarond

Very interesting looking pistol. It looks like one of those guns worth having just because they're so odd looking. I Googled it and saw where the original Whtney Wolverine did not have the ventilated rib on top. The rib definitely makes it look more like a ray gun.

I would stick with the Walther sp22 or Beretta neos simply out of reputation. I've not had a whole lot of experience with this particular gun though. However I have experiance with the sp22 and the neos. they look like rubber band guns or something you would order from the back of a comic book. But, they are absolute tack drivers.

A little web research indicates the old ones were/are prone to performance problems... just sayin'...

I think it looks pretty cool. How does it perform?

Why replicate a wolverine? Whats so amazing about this ugly thing? Wouldn't you rather replicate a Walther PP .22LR?

I wanted one real bad, and I finally got one, and I really hate to say, but it turned out to be a jamamatic. I just could not get it to shoot any type of ammo. Sent it back, and it still would run that great. Very dissapointing as the gun shot accurate and was great in the hand.

Thanks StrongSideArmsInc,,,
I assume you are referring to one of the new manufactured guns.
I do have an affinity for odd-ball guns,,, And these Wolverines are definitely oddball looking. Hello Rugerismisticness: Quote:
