New Lee 45acp mold

ok guys, I just got my new Lee 200gr SWC mold!
It is 200gr, size .452

Ive looked and searched but not found a definite answer! Would you use the bullet at .453 or would you size it down to the normal .451 for 45 ACP?

I know I should slug my barrel, But I have been using Missouri 200gr SWC with great success and checking they have been right at .4515.
Sowould you stay at .452 or size them down to .451?

You didn't say whether this was 452-200-SWC, a conventional cast bullet or TL452-200-SWC, the tumble lube design. With the latter, I have found shooting them as-cast and letting the barrel's throat do the sizing produces best accuracy and minimizes leading in all handgun calibers. For low pressure target loads, shooting with no lube at all can produce best accuracy and doesn't build up much lead. This is also done by many with conventional cast bullets, so it's worth a try and saves you a lot of bother with sizing and lubing. You can also put Lee's Liquid Alox on non-tumble lube bullet's if you aren't driving them too hard.

Are you lubing these or powder coating them? I have always shot the 200 well sized to 452. If your powder coating you can size them down to 452 after they have been powder coated.

stated earlier .4515 worked well which tells me they are really.452 so if it works do not change it

Good mold, you'll like it. Word of caution, seat it to a fingernail's width of the bullet shoulder to the case mouth. Realistically I'd say within 2mm.
