Lookin for 870 barrel
hey all, first post on the shotgun forums on here and have a pretty newb question. I've taken it upon myself to turn my old duck gun into more of a security / protection weapon. Its a remington 870 express, ive decided to go with it rather than buy a new gun alltogether because i like the walnut stock and its always been very dependable. I dont know how far im going to go as to trickin it out with the sidesaddles, ghostrings and what not, but i know the first step is generally to find a shorter barrel, so im on the market for any smoothbore barrel from 18 - 20 ". So far ive gone to cabelas and to scheels (all we got here really) and none of em seem to have even heard of any such thing for an 870, any suggestions for places to look for these kinda barrels??? any input greatly appreciated.
