Lets see your nightstand gun...

What's your current nightstand gun?

Lets see some pics if you have them.

Here's my current nightstand gun:
HK USP .45 Compact with newly installed night sights and a Hogue grip.

I'm still still trying to figure out why you would have the farewell issue of Rosie, with Richard Gere on the cover. Moreso why you would take a picture of it...

For the most part, I've mainly been a "shotgun-by-the-bed" type person, but a few years back I bought a S&W 686 to sit on the nightstand.

This was replaced a little while ago by the Kimber Custom, then again by the higher capacity Taurus PT-99 (I try not to shoot the Kimber much).

The electroless nickel Custom Classic was always loaded with 230gr Fed. Hydrashok while it served. Since then, my favored load evolved to the 230gr Rem. Golden Saber.

I bought this PT99 used a couple years back and have put enough rounds through it to gain complete confidence. It's loaded with G-A 115gr +P GoldDots.

out of my Incredible Shrinking Collection it's going to be a Ruger Bisley Vaquero 4 3/4" 45LC,and a Sig P-232.
i'm aware i'm out of quick reloading guns, and that will be adressed as finances permit. i always think in 3's,so the Cold Steel Recon Scout is also in arms reach.
my ex-GF works with a girl at the vet clinic who has just had a successfull pitbull breeding of some quality Old Family Rednose offshoots. i'm pondering the thought since i love this line.the girl has 3 pitbulls that live happily together;a small feat by todays urban standards.

Depends Really on my mood.

But it could be any of the following.

My main bedstand gun is a SIG 220ST loaded with 9 rounds of Federal 230 Grain Hydrashok.

Course there is Sheslingers SP101 with the .38+P

If I am in the revolver mood there is the Smith 627PC with 8 rounds of .38+P

But all of that is really just to fight my way back to the Remington 870.

SIG 220 and SP101

PC627 and Model 60 Ladysmith

Remington 870 Marine Magnum

That about covers it. I have lots of nightstands.

Colt 1991A1(old rollmark). The .400 Corbon barrel is for fun only, too tempremental for defense use. The .45 ACP Match barrel, though, is 100% reliable.

To select the gun, determine how big a hole you want to put in the Bison, and how much recoil you can stand
