i suppose for a small amount you can just get Knox gelatin in the packets at the grocery store. it's in the jello section. i was thinking about making some and molding it in a 5x9 aluminum bread pan sprayed with nonstick spray.

Grocery Store or Online.
You need bulk unflavored standard gelatin. And a heck of a lot of it. Most gelatin recipes call for between 10%-20% gelatin mix. Here are some links: http://www.steyrscout.org/gelatin.htm http://www.vyse.com/gelatin_for_ballistic_testing.htm http://www.andreacampbell.com/html/ballistics.html http://nldt2.arl.psu.edu/documents/ballistic%20gelatin%20report%20(2-18-04).pdf

It is not actually the same gelatin sold at the grocery stores, you need to purchase Type 250a Ordnance Gelatin. Contact [email protected]
