1911's Without Laser Engraving

What stainless 1911's out there don't use laser engraving? Absolute worst thing a company can do to any pistol IMO. Reason I ask is because if down the road I want to refinish it, whether it be bead blasting, brushing, or high polish, the laser engraving will not hold up like actual engraving would.

I really like the Ruger SR1911, but the laser engraving alone deters me from ever wanting one.

I ordered my Ed Brown with a naked slide. I don't like any roll marks either. There are several makers that will do a plain slide.

Colt still uses good old fashioned roll marks on all of their guns, and I believe Kimber and Springfield do too on most of their stainless models.
