I'm using Netscape 4.7. Can anyone tell me how to set up a "vacation message" that will be sent automatically in response to incoming email?

I don't think you can do that. If you're lucky, your ISP may do it for you from the mail server. Mine doesn't. |

Rich, I believe Netcom has the vacation autoresponder available since they were acquired by Mindspring. Go to your tech support page for Netcom, and they should be able to set you up.
