Who is the maker
I have just bought a 1851 Brass frame 36 Cal pistol and am trying to ascertain who the maker was. it was made in 1981 but thats all I can tell from the markings. Im having trouble attaching photos ( As usual) Any help would be appreciated

Well it's going to be practically impossible to tell without clear pics of all the markings. If you can describe all the markings we "might" be able to identify it. There were also a lot of kit guns sold during that time that had no identifying markings.

As Hawg posted, esp. that vintage (1981) there were a lot of inexpensive kit's being sold. Depending on the skill of the builder, they often appear to be factory built guns.
It is fairly easy to ATTACH pics to a post here. Click the icon with the paper clip, if using your phone lower the photo resolution or the file will be too large. Old software here, forums are making pretty much making zero money these days, so we deal with it and appreciate having this great and well moderated forum. To make the pic appear in your post it must be hosted.
