Elcho 17 = Reloader 17?
Are they the same or is data basically interchangeable? Seems like when I look them up on Quickload, they always have almost the exact same outputs. Anyone know?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the elcho17. To be safe, I would not assume it's interchangeable with RL17. Just use the data provided by the manufacturer and press on with your own load development, no shortcuts, work up with a safe progression.

I think Elcho-17 is only available in Europe.

Apparently, RL17, Elcho 17 and RS62 are all the same thing made by Nitrochemie of Switzerland. A member of the Rheinmetall Group. No North American distributors.
RL17 is supposedly the original 7.5X55mm GP31 Swiss military cartridge powder.

Thanks for that. I was looking around but couldnt find a finite answer. Obviously I will work up the load, but in a lot of .308 simulations I am running, Elcho-17 is always in the top 3. Good to know.

With permission from NECO:
You can see the properties are identical, so obvious QuickLOAD author Hartmut Broemel, who is an industry insider, was aware they were the same powder.
