Leather/Sling for 1885 winchester
Want a leather sling for my 1885 falling block. Give me your opinions on what you would buy.

I can only recommend the Montana Sling for a gun of this vintage/era. I have one on both my 1885 and 1886 rifles. They are the best made, easiest to adjust slings I've ever owned and look outstanding on either gun. Go visit their web site and take a look. I guarantee you that you won't be sorry. The 1885 is a great gun and deserves a great sling.

I really like the Montana slings. Not cheap, but really a bargain for the quality.
They make 1" and 1 1/4". I have one of each, ordered the wide version first. After buying the 1" sling the 1 1/4" version rarely gets used. http://www.montanagunslings.com/Gun-...ago-Screw.html |
