Glock mags and extenders?

Hi folks,

I have a Baby 26, generation 3. Where's a good store online, price and service wise, to get the mags for this gun, and where should I look for the mag extender? I've never had a subcompact so I'm not sure how the extender goes on - push it own from the bottom? Again, I'm a newbie with this model so I apologize if my questions are on the slow side...thank you in advance.

Laura

To remove the baseplate find something about the size of a punch. Push the little round thing on the bottom in and at the same time press the bottom corner of the mag against something hard and flat. Its going to slide off back to front.
Im right handed so I use my left for the punch and my right to push the mag as itll need a little force.
Heres your mags

Ive gotten plus 2 ext from botach tactical. The oem ext requires an insert that the spring sits in.
Ive also used the pearce. They have one that perfectly matches the texture of your gun.

Another vote for the Pearce extender here. I have their +1 extender on my G27 (the 40 S&W version of the G26) magazines. It allows you to get your pinky on the grip and adds one round to the magazine. Often it's very hard to force in the extra round at first but after some break in it gets better.

I've bought Glock mags from CDNN when they've had sales. Got my Pearce extenders from Amazon.com of all places.

It's not a bad idea to try some G19 or G17 mags for the G26. There are sleeves that add grip area to the pistol and of course you get 15 or 17 rounds. Just don't slam the mag in with a sleeve or you'll pinch your hand. The G26 will feel real good with the right sleeve on a G19 mag.

What are the differences between the +0, +1, etc? Thank you.

(Sorry for the big pic up there. Thats how tney come out on forums tnat dont have auto resize)

Some places if you add rounds to a 10rd mag it becomes illegal so they sell a +0 to basically allow a better hold, a pinky rest. On the inside theres not extra room for more rounds.
Theres also a plus 3

The +1 adds one round to the standard mag, 0 adds none (just extends the grip, nothing else)

Phil, good point on the 10 rd legal capacity in some states, probably MA. My extender on a G27 mag increases it from 9 to 10 but in a G26 you'd go from 10 to 11.

If you have a 10rd legal limit then of course disregard my suggestion of trying the G19 or G17 mags. It really works great but only legal in a free state. Easy to forget, so important for those affected to remember!!!

Well fortunately 10 rounds + 1 in the chamber should be adequate in most situations. Plus extra mags like Phil has. (I have about the same amount of mags pictured for my G22, G23 and G27 and all fit in the baby Glock!)

Glock resources....

Here are a few places to check so you can make your Glock rock....

www.Brownells.com www.glockstore.com www.glockworx.com www.customizeyourglock.com www.glockbooks.com www.midwayusa.com www.policehq.com www.natchezss.com

I don't own any Glock pistols right now so Im not able to advise you on which mags work best, but if you want more details, Id suggest Boatman's Living With series about Glocks or maybe his son; Morgan Boatman's book about custom Glock features & accessories.
