What gun is this?

There is a story about a lawyer off her rocker (my opinion) at the ABA's website. It includes a stock photo of a revolver that I am unfamiliar with. Any ideas?

No

I don't see RG, it is an oddball tho, as noted just a stock photo and it is indeed a revolver.

File photo, I doubt it is a functional slugthrower, some kind of blank popper.

Or a co2 pistol.

Looks like a starter pistol, or some kind of blank firing prop gun.

I agree with Crankylove. You can see where the cylinder is divided. I would bet that only the rear portion rotates and it's for firing blanks. Looks like a starter pistol for Track and Field events.

That gun looks a lot like a tear gas revolver.

I figured is was Ruger's new, prettier version of the LCR

Well, I searched for images of the various kinds of pistols mentioned here. I didn't find an exact match, but the closest I could find was a BB gun similar to this one: https://www.umarexusa.com/ux-brodax-177-black

So, that's what I'm going with. Thanks for all the suggestions. My curiosity has been satisfied.
