Tumbler Media question

I am new to the whole tumbler thing, and was wondering if it is ok to mix my walnut media with some corn media that someone recently gave me??- I would like to consolidate space and put them both in one container- will this be a problem?
Thanks in advance!

No problem at all.

I use a 50/50 mix of walnut/corncob with great results.

I also mix in about a tablespoon of Flitz metal polish which not only gives a really nice shine, but also contains an anti-tarnish ingredient which seems to make the cases stay pretty longer.

If you use the media dry, you may have a dusting problem. If so, the Flitz or a couple of tablespoons of "no odor" mineral spirits (paint thinner) will help.
