.45 ACP - Just Because

My latest pistol...

Foxtrot Mike's lower - SBA3 brace - POF trigger

Aero XL upper - KAK 9" bbl (custom cut and thread) - Magpul FDE grip/sights (for a splash of color )

Linear Comp:

Silencerco Octane 45K
[/quote]

It makes a nice addition to my small collection of pistol caliber (AR (and one AK)) pistols.

How much louder is it with the suppressor compared to a regular pistol with a 4-5 inch barrel?

I ran my octane 45 on a 9mm... the Ruger PC9 and there was not a huge difference... glad it was not much louder. But my PC9 is a POS and my next PCC is going to be a 45.

How much did that build cost? Looks great.

That's an SMG, not a pistol. Keeping in mind that everybody should have an SMG. No matter what the ATF's laws by regulation say.

Not unless it fires full auto.

Did you perhaps mean SBR? (short barrel rifle)

If they ATF says its a pistol, then its a pistol, until the ATF says otherwise.

Which has happened, and could happen tomorrow. Keep that in mind kids, and have fun!

Have a braced cmmg 5 incher, and it is a blast to shoot, easy to clean and accurate. Works exceptionally well with a hybird.

It's actually a cruise missle.

Thanks folks... it was built mainly for fun... and we never, ever tally the cost... that might get depressing!

9x19,

Have you tried shooting your best groups with it yet?

45 acp out of that heavy and long barrel pistol must be a pleasure to shoot.
