Do you own multiple handguns of the same make and model?

What are the handguns you like so much, you bought the same thing over and over again. Please list only those still in production.

If so, why do you like them so much? Thanks.

Semi-auto:
- Walther PPS M2
- Walther CCP
- Walther PPQ M2
- Beretta 92s
- Glock 17
- Glock 19
- Ruger MkII
- Colt 1911
- Browning Buckmark
- Revolvers:
- S&W 39, 52, 5906, 745, 845, 945, 952
- Tanfoglio Match Elite
- CZ TS

Revolvers:
- Ruger Security Six
- Ruger single action revolvers
- Ruger GP100
- Ruger Blackhawk
- Ruger Super Blackhawks
- SW Model 19
- SW Model 28
- SW Model 29
- SW K-frame .38’s
- SW N-frame 28-2’s
- Korth 24 series in .22 l.r.

I bought a Walther PPS M2 last year and I like it so much that I'm seriously considering acquiring a "back up twin" for it.

Why not?
Back-up.
Spare parts perhaps.
'Cause two is better than one, especially with single action revolvers.

I have a few m41 S&Ws, a few S&W K22s, a few Colt 1911s, others I only have 3 or 4 of same model. I’ve got less than a dozen singles.

Thanks. What I am hoping to see is a list of handguns that are highly valued by customers. Do you have some specific makes and models that you own more than one?

Two Beretta 92’s
Two Ruger MkII standard models
I do have 4 Contenders if that counts.
Two Kubotas
Two Ford trucks, well the one thinks it’s a truck (Maverick).
I might have a problem.

I like to shoot three Ruger single action revolvers. 2 are 357 Magnum Blackhawk revolvers shooting "hunting load replication" handloads. The third single action is a long barreled 22 caliber Wrangler.
The 4 5/8" 357 barrel rises more with equivalent loads than the 6.5" 357 barrel. When a revolver gets hot I switch to the other to give it time to cool down.

The wrangler definately gives them time to cool down some.

3 Colt 1911s, 3 S&W Model 29’s, 2 Ruger Super Blackhawks, a bunch of Uberti/ Cimarron 1873 SAA’s and cap n ball revolvers. Just picked up another Cimarron 1873 in 32-20 yesterday. Range report coming soon.

Not sure if this qualifies, but I like my Ruger 4” Security Six so much I added a 3” version. Of course this is only after giving it my usual trigger work I give Ruger revolvers.

Since the request of listing only models that are still in production is obviously ignored and I enjoy older guns of traditional manufacturing more than the new stuff, I want to add a few of mine.
First, the three Korth 24 series in .22 l.r. I was so impressed with my first one that I added two more.

I have four S&W M-19s in 2 1/2", 3", 4", and 6"

Two Hammerli 212s, the fancy one was recently given to my son

I have two Glock 19s left, after giving several to the kids but very rarely carry Glock 19s anymore.

Many thanks for contributing to this list. It seems that SW Model 19 is the biggest winner so far.

OMG, how could you afford so many Korth Revolvers? They are crazy expensive.

The only examples I have of owning more than one of a particular make/model current production firearm right now is a Walther CCP. I have three of them, a CCP M2 380 and two CCP M2 9mm. One of the 9mms though is actually a CCP first version that Walther upgraded to the M2 level.

I have three Auto Mags, two .44s and a .357. How do you like the new version??

Am down to a pair of S&W model 28s. Have a pair of Browning BDA .45s.

Have several Ruger Blackhawks, a pair of Stoeger Luger .22s. Have had several 1911A1 pattern guns, down to just one now.
also a pair of Mauser HSc as well.

Got a pair of T/C Contender frames and about a dozen or so barrels, does that count??

Don't have much in the way of current production guns, other than Ruger Blackhawks, no multiples I can think of.

I do recommend a "back up copy" of your defense gun. If you ever need to use it, it is very likely the cops will take it. (its evidence). You'll get it back after ALL the legal stuff is settled, but until then they keep it. Having a back up allows you to put the same gun "into service" until you get your original back.

I thought this was a dumb request and the OP himself had multiple discontinued guns in his own list. I love the Security Six also… out of production for 3+ decades.

To be fair. The list is a compilation based on the replies.

I just love G17 Gen5, got one some time ago and a few week ago also bought one for my son, he is not a gun lover, but still likes to shoot from time to time.
