TFL Pennsylvania gathering October 30th
Its time to get together and put some lead downrange.
Saturday October 30th from 9am until 5pm. Place : Water and Wings in East Greensville,PA. 9173 Janes Lane East Greenville,PA 18041 Pistol range is 7-50yds Rifle ranges are 100-500yds Sporting clays course and 5-stand. Bring your guns and ammo and $20 if you aren't a member. I'll talk to the owners about dropping the fee to about $15 but food will probable be about $5 for all you can eat. We had 40 people come out last time so these gatherings have the full potential of not being very small anymore. Last edited by Jamie Young; September 13, 2004 at 10:53 PM. |

Just so anyone traveling from out of State knows.........
There will also be food available for lunch for anyone who's interested. Most likely sausage with peppers and onions, pork BBQ, hot dogs and hamburgers, salads, chips and pretzels. I also request that anyone traveling from out of State bring their State Flag. I always fly the Pennsylvania State Flag and the 48 Star American Flag (minus CA and NJ ). |

I'll be there, although I did say that about the shotgun shoot and was a bit sick that day, but I don't shoot clays all that well anyways.
I can bring the Beowulf and Coonan again. I have a .500 S&W mag this time around as well. Maybe these two oddballs as well. Carbon 15 AR .223 Pistol - had that one with me last time - big booms. Medusa Revolver |

I would LOVE to try your AR pistol, if I may. I'll bring ammo. I got really close to asking you about shooting it last time I think... when Eric Rohrbaugh came out with my new Rohrbaugh pistol and I forgot about everything at that point - and spent the rest of the time with him and my new pistol. By the way, I'll be bringing my little Rohrbaugh if anyone is interested in trying it... and some other assorted oddball stuff most likely. |

Which reminds me..........
Does anyone have any requests for firearms that they want to tryout? We all own so many firearms but don't always bring them unless we are asked. If anyone has any requests please post them? I'll request that somebody bring an FNC first. Anyone? Please spread the word to all our friends that there is a Gathering on the 30th!! |

I am going to see if I can ship my dad out with a few of my rifles for the Oct 30th shoot... Hell if I give him a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue he should make it. P.S. Let it be know to all the type of firearm you would like to try out, some of the people that show up just might bring them along Mine and my dad's would be a 1918A3. |

Are you coming?
This is the day before Halloween. You'd fit in fine since you're "Dead." |

I'll be there! I'll be shooting this:
Also, I donated my last paycheck to Brownells and now own a Meprolight sight pusher, in case anyone has sights they need to install/adjust. After the trouble Chris and I had with my P220, I decided I didn't want to do it again. I'm probably going to try it out by replacing the crappy sights on my CZ75 (now that I can get some cheap full-cap mags for it). |

9mmMichael- do you still have your Sig 228? I have a 13rd mag but no gun. I don't know if I'll be able to pick one up all that soon but I haven't shot a Sig 228 in over 10yrs.
Dave- are you still bringing up the new grips for the FAL? Tell me again what you have for sale? If it still is for sale? I am looking forward to putting some range time in with the Rohrbaughs, Jody. |

Yes, I still have the grips. In fact, I've set aside a box of stuff I want to sell, so I'll bring it. I have some Mossberg choke tubes, a couple Israeli slings, a .308 buttstock mag pouch (actually two: one new, one used), an AR15 "entry" (shorty) stock, and probably a few other things. Most of this stuff is new or like-new.
Are you expecting as big a turnout as last time? |

I do want those grips. I'm not pushing the "indoctrination" of newbies this time...... just so I can actually shoot. I didn't fire more than 40rds last time. Next Spring we can have another big shoot and bring newbies. I have another dozen people that want to come out but never fired a gun before. This can be a buy/sell gun show so bring anything you want to sell. I have two Chinese SKS rifles that I'll be willing to sell if anyone is interested, and an MAS36 rifle. P.S. I'd appreciate it if you guys would use the link to this thread to promote the gathering on other forums. I will be inviting some people from FNFAL.com and anyone from THR is also invited. Try and get some of those Maryland and Virginia guys to come up! |

NICE!!
I'm laughing right now.... I can't get onto FnFAL.com because the site has crashed due to too many people being on the site. Tamara's signature said it the best, "Ding, dong, the ban is dead." |

I will put the 228 in the bag. I just ordered two "LE only" 13 rounders for it!

Where did you get them?
I did a quick search online and they were going for $49.99 at CDNN. Not impressed with those prices. |

CDNN sent me an email flyer. They were around 18 bucks. The G17 mags were around 13.
