AR suppressor problem

Im trying to figure out why an AR in 7.62x39 operates fine when unsuppressed but jams every shot or every second shot when firing suppressed?

Firing from a 16” barrel using a SilencerCo Omega300

is the rifle with suppressor on not getting enough gas to operate correctly or maybe getting to much gas and failing to operate correctly? Any ideas?

Thanks ahead of time.

What do you mean by "jams" failure to extract? Stovepipe? Double feed? Failure to feed? Need more info.

Generally adding a suppressor will increase gas pressure.

If i had to guess it's probably some sort of feeding issue? The bolt is cycling faster because of the extra gas from the suppressor and the magazine can't push up a round fast enough. That's my guess.

Jam is for toast or bagels. Please define the failure?!?

More information please.

But, I will take the time now to ask when it was last cleaned and how many shots were fired suppressed (regardless of how well it functioned).

With most suppressors, you will experience additional back pressure which will change the speed at which your BCG cycles, hence throwing off the timing, resulting in your malfunctions.

I recently bought a Bear Creek upper in 7.62x39. Once I had built the lower. I put a digital night sight and Griffin Armament suppressor on it....It has run flawlessly......I get some gas back in the action but that's to be expected with the can.

Prior to this post, Mosol's last visit was in January.
So we should probably expect him to come back in July.
