looking for groundhogs in ohio

Me and a friend are looking for places to shoot and video groundhogs in ohio. we have several local farmers who let us shoot, but we are always looking for new land. we live in crawford county ohio, but travel all over the state for work. we will NOT pose any risk to livestock, and will not tear up land with vehicles. We WILL respect the landowners wishes.

87mustang, not ignoring your thread. Just don`t have any locations at this time for ya. Private property around these parts are getting harder by the year to get permission to hunt. A few slob hunters can make a lifelong impression on property owners

. That coupled with alot of big farms being sold out to developers,land plotted out, its real tuff to find new hunting areas

that's why i posted something on here. there's too many town people coming out to the country and ruining land for people who want to do things the right way.

I do not understand how anyone can point the finger at a single group of people simply because they live in town so please explain that to me.
I grew up in the country in which the country grew into a town and now I do not like it here myself but I am not a bad person for living in a town that grew up from being country.

The problem in Ohio, and most of the country, is liability. I have spoken to Sean Logan on the subject(of ODNR) and their just isn't anything anyone can really do about it. The laws already give huge protection to landowners if they use the ODNR permission/release form, but that doesn't mean someone can't sue you and you have to go to court and spend $5,000 having the case thrown out. Lets blame the lawyers.

I am looking for land to do any sort of hunting on.
My final solution was to join a hunting club. 350 acres I can access whenever I like.

I no longer grouse hunt because some corporations have bought up so much of the land here in East Tennessee
