Wow! Not just a handsome high number '03 but a rare one apparently as the NRA sporters were done . . . at the Armory?
I am contemplating rebarreling and customizing a Remington A3 in something like 9.3x62 because it's an old unrealized dream. I welcome any suggestions, cautions or personal experiences with anything to do with customizing A3s . . . Metallurgy issues, Installing milled trigger guards or anything like that.

Searching the closed auctions on Gunbroker may be of help in establishing a good starting price. Your NM may not be common enough for GB to be useful.
