Hi-lux sight on Model 94
Hi
I have a Winchester Model 94, 30-30 and I’m trying to “install” it a Hi-Lux Vintage sight. I have the kit that came specifically for the Model 94, but I’m having problems with the screws that should hold the rear “sight holder” the ones that came with the rifle at the left side go through the holes of “sight holder”. I need (2) screws with a bigger “head” a just a bit longer! Anyone knows the size and details of the screws I need? Thanks in advance! |

can't help
No help, but one of those vintage scopes on a '94 should look pretty neat....good luck with the project.

The mounting instruction on the Hi-Lux website state: "two 6-48 screws are needed for the rear mount." So that's where you start.
But perhaps this line from the same instructions applies: WARNING: You must install the mount securely before you shoot the rifle. This should be done by a competent gunsmith.

Any gunsmith should be able to provide a couple 6-48 screws.
