Hi Dave,
My 1991 Hornady data lists, for 200gr #4515 fmj-c/t, #45140 HP/XTP ;
pistol: Colt Gov.
primer: Fed 150
Max. C.O.L. 1.245" (What is the max for your chamber with the 200gr XTP ?)

W-231, start 5.3
W-231, Max 6.2

How do you like your Taurus 24/7 pro ??

It's had a lot of FTE/FTF issues. These rounds will be going in my 1911. The 9mm and .40 S&W 24/7 PRO models seem to be ok from what I've read, it's the .45 ACP model that has major issues.

My Midway loadmap list 6.3 gr of W231 as max. 6.3 gr should deliver 874 fps at 19900 PSI

How much are you using?

Good, because I didn't read your query correctly the data I gave was for a 230 gr Hornaday.

For a Hornaday HP/XTP 200gr

min load 5.0
Max load 6.8 pressure at this level is 19100 psi. that gives a little wiggle room.

with a OAL of 1.275

I'm thinking 5.8 is about as low as you can go and still get the slide to function. reliably
