Handgun Prism Scope?

Has anyone tried putting a 1x prism scope on a handgun?

I ordered a muzzleloading pistol for hunting. I know there are "pistol" scopes and red dots, but I would prefer something like a Vortex Spitfire.

Just wondering if anyone had tried it and if there was enough eye relief.

Vortex says the eye relief is 3.8". Wouldn't be enough for me on a pistol.

Leupold makes a wonderful 2X pistol scope, I know it is more powerful than you stated, but it has crazy great eye relief.

I have a Burris 2-7x32 pistol scope that really shines when at full arms length away! They aren’t all that bad on the wallet, either.
