This is not a big deal but I would really prefer to click on today's active topics and be presented a list of messages sorted by category. Then I can look at the categories of interest for recent topics that catch my eye.

I'm in agreement, but this is a software hack that needs to be written, installed and reinstalled with each upgrade. We'll be more amenable once the stable version of 2.0 is released. Feel free to remind us at that time.
