Integrated laser not working.
Hey guys, One of my favorite varmint guns is a Gamo p-23 I bought 20 years ago. Works great but the integrated lases stopped working. I contacted Gamo but don't have much hope.
I replaced the batteries. Lasers are cheap, but this one has a very cool look and feel. It is "part" of the gun. Any ideas? http://www.gamousa.com/product.aspx?productID=118 |

Sorry for your loss.
Is this pistol a blow back? If not, maybe you could just attach a cheap laser pointer to it. I did that with a video game light gun (remember those?) and it worked pretty good. |

That's it, but it is no longer for sale. I could kit bash a laser pointer in there but it wouldn't be the rodent slayer it once was. I shot a mouse with it as it scampered across the kitchen floor at about 15 feet.
Just an FYI, If you are my age you remember seeing the Terminator with the integrated laser. "The .45 long slide with laser sighting..." It actually had a wire running up his sleeve to a large battery. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIPCn-aYMoM |
