On line Gun Auction
Langham Bros, is in the throes of yet another on-line only gun auction. I've done a lot of business with these guys and they are the operative definition of integrity. They ship to anywhere (An FFL or CR dealer, of course).

I see 7 or 8 "interesting" guns, but nothing SO interesting as to trigger "I gotta have it, bid, bid!"

Lotta used compound dows . . .
This auction has a lot of used compound bows that appear to be going for very low prices. Just an FYI. . . . .

I emailed them 5 days ago and asked if they would ship a winning bid to me...(ammo & empty brass) in Michigan...no response from them.

I'm sure they would . . .
Smoke and Recoil
Not a lot of staff there. Probably takes a while to get to the emails. They ship every where that's legal to ship too. I've been there post auction and the amount of stuff shipped is amazing. Life is good. Prof Young |

Their buyers premium is only 10%, which is low. I generally don’t engage in online auctions with a buyer’s premium higher than 15%, and there are a lot of those out there.
Rock Island Auction, for example, charges 27%. Smoke and Recoil, your question is a good one, because the auction house is in Illinois. Illinois requires a FOID card to buy ammo, so out of state residents can’t buy ammo there. Rock Island auction requires ammo to be sent to an FFL. I would expect these folks to require the same. I read their terms of auction and this wasn’t addressed. That’s one reason I usually don’t even look at Illinois auctions. |
