Brass tracking
I am about to start annealing some 30-30 and 30-06 brass.
I do not always shoot a fixed amount so I am not sure how to keep track of which brass I have already annealed and how many reloads before the next annealing for individual cases. Do you have a system to keep track ? Thanks Mike |

Throw it in bags or boxes. Label appropriately.
If you shoot less than a full 'lot', label them separately, or don't touch them until the entire lot has been shot.

Since the thing to keep track of is how many times sized marking the cases is a good option if you're not doing too many.
One way is with a very fine scribe to put a small radial scratch in the base after sizing. If you mix full length sizing and neck sizing then use a scratch to the outside rim for one and to the primer pocket for the other. I'd say to use the outside rime for which you do most often. |

The plasic boxes are inexpensive and easy to keep brass together. I prefer the 50 round boxes.
