satin chrome ?

I recently came into possession of a 1903 Colt in just excellent mechanical condition. It funtions flawlessly and is a pretty good shooter.

It has no rust or pits but the blue is only about 80%. I have seen these guns satin chromed and they really look good to me. Does anyone know where I can get this done and the approximate cost?

Go to www.techplate.com They have a price list which will give you an idea.

PS: if this is a collectable piece, I wouldn't do it as it would decrease the value significantly.

collectable

Oh, I suppose it is a collectable gun, it was made in 1930, but at this point in life I am more interested in what I want to shoot than I am in what my kids want to inherit.

BTW, thanks guys for the links.
