Gun Show - York, PA - 27/28 October
Well, "Arms bazaar" is the Tall Man's preferred vernacular, but I get funny stares even from gun folks when I say it this way.
Anyway, sorry for the last minute post regarding the announcement of this event. Here are the particulars: York Fairgrounds York, PA 0900-1600 Saturday 0900-1500 Sunday Held in 'Memorial Hall' building Free parking; lot fills up quickly Admission Fee: usually $6.00 With respect to the shows held in South Central PA, the York Fairgrounds show is second in size only to the BIG December/May shows at the Farm Show complex in Harrisburg (our capitol). The variety of goods available for sale is actually quite respectable. The aisles are a bit narrow, though. This is exacerbated by folks who simply must bring in oversized baby carriages, which in the Tall Man's opinion have NO place at such an event. Parents - leave the strollers at home and dump the kid(s) at a sitter, if need be. Tall Man |
