Safelert safe monitor
If you haven't seen these already, please take a moment and check out the Safelert system from Liberty Safe. It relies on an internet connection to warn you if someone is opening or disturbing your safe, or if the temperature inside is rising.

Personally I think it has some merit, but I can also think of potential issues.
I’m not sure if you have a whole house security system or not, but that would be where I would probably invest my money. For instance wireless monitoring, video, fire/water/freeze alarms etc. are now pretty common options for security systems. Now, if your goal is to monitor family/friends that might have access or simply as a redundant system to compliment the main security system I suppose it’s something to consider.
