Chest Rig for Shotgun as my main gun?
I could use some help setting up a chest rig. Right now my main gun is a Remington870. I'm completely new to this so the searching I've been doing hasn't been really helpful since I dont know which brands/styles are good for what I want.
I want this for something I would grab in addition to my BOB and gun in a SHTF situation or to use at the range for some tactical shooting classes. Thanks for any advice you can give to a newbie. |

Don't know much about chest rigs personally, but this may help:
http://sjhardware.com/store/modules....roducts_id=328 You can keep 6 or 8 or whatever shells in this velcro holder, and keep it attached to your chest rig. I've heard they will fit into AR-mag sized pockets. S&J does offer a pouch of their own for it, too: http://sjhardware.com/store/modules....roducts_id=469 I've got the detachable shell carrier for my 870 and I love it. In a SHTF scenario, it would be extremely valuable having those extra shells handy. |
