9mm Star auto ejection pin?
Recently on another forum I heard concern about Star model B pistols loosing some type of extractor or ejector pin. Is this the pin that protrudes from the slide top just behind the ejection port? If so what is the cure for this problem ? Someone said to use lock-tite to secure the pin. Ideas--suggestions -- thoughts ?

You are probably looking at the extractor pin. You can rock the extractor against its spring and see where it pivots to be sure. I just put a dab of blue Loctite on my CZ75 which was also subject to its extractor pin walking. Don't use anything stronger, you need to be able to drive that pin out, remove the extractor, and clean out from behind it occasionally.
