J. Stevens Single-Shot .410
Can anyone provide any information concerning a junior-sized single-shot .410 shotgun produced by J. Stevens Arms Company?
It is early enought that it has no serial number. One side of the receiver is labeled: J. Stevens Arms CompanyThe other side is stamped: STEVENSNear the breech, the barrel is stamped: "Barrel and lug forged in one piece" The buttstock and forepiece appear to be walnut. I will attach photos as soon as I can. Thanks!

Tony:
It sounds like this may be the Stevens #1 model. They made several sngl bbl shotguns over the years, some with model no's on them and some not. don't have anything in the library on this one. HJN |
