Mystery single shot bolt action .22

I have a single shot bolt action rifle with markings on the barrel in two lines "GACO TRADE MARK REGISTERED - 22 CAL S.L. & L.R." The barrel is 20" and the overall length is 37 1/4. It has a cresent buttplate. I suspect GACO is not the manufacturer. Maybe it was a company which sold guns (like Western Auto or Sears) or maybe it was a special order for some company promo. I have been able to find nothing on it. I have even gone so far as to email a company in Cleveland that had the registered trademark of GACO to no avail. Does the name GACO mean anything in the gun world? Thanks
