Chamber 460 S&W in repeating rifle

Just got some time on my hands for some important work, as opposed that is to gainful employment.

Is the Marlin 336 type rifle a candidate for rebarreling to this longer pistol cartridge? Has anyone done this and how well does it work. I have noted that the 45/70 rifle seems to be more accurate than the smaller calibers in marlin lever guns. Bolt action would be fine too, if there's any good experience with it. Accuracy a prime concern of course. Thanks for any wisdom or experience on this. Mike

PS: Yes, it's another Indiana hunter question. At least the bureaucrats give us something to do. Probably a matter of time working up to regular rifles, but I don't have that many years left.
