Colt Big Pin FCG Upgrade
I have an old Colt Match Target HBAR that I have made several upgrades to. I wanted a new "Match Grade" FCG, but found that the availability of the 0.170" "big pin" parts are far less available than they used to be.
The answer was the STBA™ AR15/M16 STAINLESS TRIGGER BUSHING & HEX HEAD PIN ASSEMBLY (no link provided due to forum rules, google it if you are interested). I was able to install this kit using only a mini-mill and basic machining skills. after the install I was able to drop in the RRA two stage varmint kit and it works perfectly. The bushing holes were precisely drilled and tapped for 1/4-40 threads, the bushings are threaded in with locktite and tightened.
