Hello from Colorado. Been a shooter for about 40 years. Mostly hunting in my early days. For the last 20 years it's been tactical and self defense. Glad to have found this site. Cheers!

A New Member
Greetings,
Thomas here, and brand new to this forum. A rifle guy all my life, but recently taken a liking to single shots. Currently have a Ballard, a custom Ruger, and two Luxus 11s. Read a bunch about the DeHaas-Miller, but never handled one. I see where they have been praised as the Cadillac of single shots, and condemned for having trigger and lock up issues. Love to hear from any of you on the pros and cons of the DeHaas-Miller, how it measures up to your favorites, and what one in excellent condition without issues might be worth. Best regards, Thomas |

Hello, from the red dirt of Oklahoma.
I've been lurking here for some time, finally signed up. I look forward to participating, and sharing whatever knowledge I've gained. I started reloading around 1987, but there is always something new, and always something to learn. I've worked for our crazy Uncle, ran an automotive machine shop, was a heavy-line mechanic, chased a few warm 'n willings, and shot many pounds of powder. I've even been known to hoist a few cold ones, although not in the last 20 years (!). The years are starting to catch up, so I've settled down somewhat. Not that interested in rip-snorting revolver loads anymore, but I'll still run off a few. See you on the board. |

New to TFL
Good day all, my name is Chip, (KragNut). And as the name implies, I am a big fan of the Krag rifle. I am 56 yrs. old, been reloading metallic cartridges and shotgun shells since I was 16. Recently purchased a Savage 840 in .30-30 Win. and had it converted to .30-30 Ackley Improved, trying now to find a good accurate load with 130 gr. bullets. I am looking forward to hearing from any other Ackley Improved gunners and Krag fans.

Lurked here every now and again, figured was time to create an account. Originally from the NE, been in the S, now west of the Rocky's.
Shooting since I was 7, loading pistol since I was in my early 20's, over half my life over again I mostly handload for bench and LRP, but still load everything other than shotgun. |

From Namibia. Been hunting and shooting for 20+ years. Really envy the Americans for the choice of guns and affordability of components.

New member here. I've been a member of various specialty gun forums for years. I'm in the deep south, southern MS to be exact (somewhat).
I dabble is just about everything gun related. Reloading, a little gunsmithing, NFA stuff, etc. |

Hello from Northeast Ohio. find me registered after lurking around a couple of forms. Just looking to get some information and maybe share a little bit if I can help anyone. Into a little bit of everything concerning firearms. Mostly range / self-defense, but go hunting once in awhile when I have time. Have not tried reloading yet though. It's on the list.

I'm back
I knew it had been a while since I last visited any of the firearms forums online but when I logged in today I noticed that the site said:

I was never one of the prolific posters, so I doubt anyone remembers me after over four years, but I'm glad the software still remembered my account. |

Newbie to the forum, but had guns for years and I'm on other forums.
From Virginia, been here all my life. Retired from civil service 11 years now, was a Combat Systems Assessment Director for the Navy. Now I work 1 day/wk at the local golf course. Play golf and shoot guns, what more is there?!?!?! Anyway, thanks for having me and I hope to not be too much a PITA. |

Greetings from West Central IL!
Hello all! I missed this thread when I signed up for the forum a few weeks ago, so here goes.
I like shooting stuff! :-) I primarily shoot rimfire, airgun, and centerfire handgun 9mm, .357, .38 special and 45ACP. I recently bought a reloading setup and have been learning the ropes from a great guy at the local range. It is my new reloading interest that brought me to this forum through an internet search. You can also find me on a few other internet forums, usually as "mobilemail". For some reason that wouldn't work here... |

Self Taught Shooter
Hey y'all!
Texan shooter, navigating gun ownership and knowledge mostly on my own as I did not grow up in a family that did much shooting. We always only had a single shot 22 in the house and that was it. Hoping to ask questions and learn more. Also SmellyShooter has nothing to do with my odor, but instead my preference for the SMLE. |

Hi ya. I like testing different platforms and was looking for a place that likes discussing similar topics without all of the political nonsense and bickering. Hopefully this is the place. :
