Brand Spankin' New Rock Island 1911 - In Nickel!

Got off my duff and took some better quality photos of the Nickel Plated RIA to share with all of you. Enjoy!

Note the tight frame to slide fit, it's beautiful!

Finish on the rest of the slide and frame are perfect

Machining in the chamber area is also first rate

ZeSpectre

I have never seen an RIA in nickle...snazzy.

Here is a pic I took today of my Colt Officer's and my Dan Wesson CBOB with the new custom grips I ordered from Sarge43.

Nice grips!
I like the black color on mine but the cheezy rubber/plastic stuff has got to go so eventually I'll find something that strikes my fancy.

New additions to the family

Here's a couple of new guns I picked up at the gun show last weekend:

Browning BPS High Capacity 12ga pump

I was at first planning to farkle this thing all up with weapon lights and a pistol grip, but after looking at it for a few days I have to say it's one of the "cleanest" guns I've ever seen. The bottom ejection and all-black finish are really easy on the eyes.

I also picked up a used Savage 10FP .308 with a factory stock and 26" heavy barrel. Got this one for $325.

I don't have the same qualms about add-ons for this rifle - I'll be swapping the stock and adding a big scope just as soon as my research is complete.

im seeing alot of red x's instead of pictures... but i just learned that you can right click > show picture and then they load!

so if anyone else having that problem try it and see if it works.

donno why it does that in the first place, maybe web browser security settings.

That, or somewhere along your network line an awful lot of packets are being dropped.
This problem's especially common on wi-fi.
