I get no pleasure at all out of editing posts concerning over-max loads without cautionary notes. Thanks--

I have bought many guns for the purpose of overloading.
I have destroyed many handguns and bulged many cases in my trigger string experemnts.
I have posted some of my findings on:

Of all these places I have posted, the only place I have ever had complaints about needing warning is the handloading forum on the firing line. [I certainly have got complaints eslewhere for being boring, repeditive, ect.]

I think it is tribute to Johnny Guest that he runs a forum that is cut above when it comes to safety.

I too think it is important to how we say something. I have found that the same facts presented differently have a very different result. If I say, " The Kel-Tek P11 has a 60% over charge safety margin compared to the P357 1%.", it will sound like safe talk. If I say, "I put 60% extra powder in my 9mm and lived to tell about it! I carry the most bad ass loads!", then many will react that I am crazy and dangerous. The experemental facts were the same, just presented differently. I hope there is a corrensponding difference in "monkey do" behavior.

Clark--

Thank you for the kind words. I really do try to treat others as I would expect to be treated under similar circumstances--A slight variation on the Golden Rule.

And, in turn, I greatly appreciate your spirit of cooperation and restraint--- and others' as well--- in posting your loading experience.

As to anyone elsewhere accusing you of being boring, repetitive, etc--- Well, I sure wouldn't have any room to talk. I believe I may be the TFL moderator with the fewest posts, but mine may average the longest.

(Just watch--One of the computer gurus will come up with a word-count program and go to checking us out!)

Best regards,
Johnny
