As a side note, I ordered a Tyler T-Grip from their website in late 2022 . . . still waiting . . . cashed check immediately, but then nothing. Won't answer phone/email. I would highly recommend looking at other grip adapters if someone is wanting a new one. Occasionally old ones in good shape show up on eBay. But I can't recommend doing business with the T-Grip website now.

tough & T-grips
I've posted before that the Border Patrol supposedly shot available medium frame .38/.357 wheelguns to failure back in the day, and the Six series was the walkaway winner by a landslide.
I had an early Security-Six 4", early enough that the grip /frame was odd and no aftermarket grips available could be found. Apparently there was an change in frame configuration after initial release and all the grip manufacturers patterned their grips after the change. I had to have a single action revolver at one point and traded the "Six" away, wish I'd kept it. Complaints regarding the current T-grip company are not unusual. Seems I've read that their building got hit with a tornado, and they never fully recovered. I've read also that they recently had a fire. Several comments regards checks cashed, but no product ever appeared. There's a guy called "BK grips" that makes a similar product from plastic, but his lag time and product availability is touch and go. I keep hoping to find a Tyler #4 in a junk box somewhere. |
