First READ, and READ some more. Buy at least two reloading manuals. I use Lyman, Speer, Hornady, and Lee as my go to manuals. Each has a section on reloading that is a must read. Also use the internet as a supplement resource. Never use a load off the internet without double checking your manuals or the powder manufactures website. Also there is a book out there called the "ABCs of Reloading" that should be read. Knowledge is your best bud before you even begin!
Best bet is to buy a complete reloading single stage kit. That way you have everything you 'need' to reload. Of course there is always more that you'll want down the road (like a tumbler), but it does save from having to buy everything 'piece mill'. A RCSB RockChucker kit, Hornady Kit come to mind.
