My M28 Highway Patrolmen. All three of them. Two have been refinished. Parkarized then a polymer clearcoat applied and baked on. Very sturdy finish and I rather like the grey finish. I believe that eveyone should have one or two shooters that are unique in a way. These three are among my favorites.

Grey 6" mfd 1979
Grey 4" mfd 1978

Thanks. I like it as well. The six inch was the first one I had done. When I got it back I liked it so much I went with the four incher as well. Unfortunately the gunsmith who did the work is now out of business. He did good work. Built rifles on both the Remington 700 and Winchester 70 action and many other things. But he had money problems (i.e. ex-partner who was a creative bookeeper) and had to close his doors. Darn it.

Here are my latest two (at least until I pick up my next Wildalaska purchase tomorrow ):

A Kimber Desert Warrior and a Kimber Eclipse Custom II in 10mm ( ). And here is the Desert Warrior wearing its "night on the town" grips:

Any guesses which unit I'm in?

The Eclipse is getting a pair of formal grips also, some Damascus grips from WickedGrips.com. I think they will go well with the black on stainless look of the Eclipse, but they are handmade so I probably won't see them until January.

But of course. It won't be customized, but it will still be pretty sweet. Let's just say there will probably be much drooling and possibly some crying by others.

CCO == Officer's frame with Commander slide?

Sorry, I'm a little behind the times with the nomenclature.

NICE....
