Hornady bad shell plate?
I have a hornady lnl ap press. Just put on my #6 shell plate and it jams up when indexing ..same spot each time. My other 2 plates are perfectly fine. Anyone ever see this?

Send it back to Hornady they will replace it.

I'm thinking the groove on the back is undersized. Looks OK with cailpers. If I get a chance at work I'm going to put them on a manual cmm and inspect them

place it flat on a piece of flat glass and see if there is any high spots.

Also note that they changed the shell plates a few years ago and the old one do not work on the newer presses.

Call them. I would bet money you have the high detent issue and need to hammer it in around the edge with a punch.
