cast bullet in contender 357

HI all,my wife is getting me a .357 mag. barrel for my contender for x-mas,does anyone shoot a lee c357-158 swc ? if so,how is the accurcey? how fast can the bullet be driven ? thanks

You can generally go 1100-1200 FPS with a LSWC bullet w/o leading problems. If you cast your own and go with a gas checked hard cast bullets you can get jacketed bullet velocities.

TC barrels are generally very smooth. I have a 44 mag that any lead fouling that is left behind just brushes out with 1-2 passes. Afriend shot a 50 TC hawken and he could load long after I had to clean my CVA, just pushed the patched ball down the barrel even after 20 rounds.

I would say in 357 it would be very easy to drive any bullet as fast as you want.

I use only http://www.archipelagobullets.fi/. Copperpladet resitzed castbullets.
