Both are fine guns with high reliability standards..As stated previously Glock will have a world of aftermarket and servicability support..XD's have some also, but not as much..I can take my xd9 apart and back together is about 15minutes..I'm a springfield man.. I like 'em..Glock didn't have the feel I wanted.

I can understand that with you living in Miani. Try a FNH FNP-45 (15 rounds of 45 ACP) and a really nice pistol, dependable, reliable, great shooter and made in the USA by one of the best companies in the world. (also comes with 3 mags standard) Jim |

For what? Defensive purposes? Glock 21, without a single hesitation. I've owned two XD45s and three G21s.
Both the XDs have choked on certain hollow-point ammo (HST on one and Ranger T on the other). The Glocks couldn't be made to gag if my life depended on it. Thousands of rounds through the G21s and not...a...single...failure. Make your choice and happy shooting. |
