NJ Airgun Laws
I want to buy a Gamo Whisper off the Internet. Can I order online if I do have the Firearms ID Card. Also is the whisper NJ legal since it has to sound suppressor. http://www.gamousa.com/product.aspx?...&productID=234

NJ treats airguns the same as firearms... So you would have a suppressed firearm in NJ I would think?? See if a NJ FFL would order one for you. Can not hurt to ask.

If you write to the Sheriff in the county you live in, he'll probably provide you with an answer. It's always wise to maintain a paper trail from an official source, just in case a local cop doesn't like the look on your face.

I bought a Whisper about 3 months ago. I love it. It was shipped to my house w/o any issues, but of course I live in AZ. with very few gun rules.

Oo oo i know!
You have to have a State Firearms Purchaser I.D. Card to bay an airgun, same as for a rifle or shotgun. I did not see it on that website, but alot of places wont even ship an airgun to NJ. You would have to see if a local FFL would recieve it for you.
Btw I lived In Jersey for a spell. Feel sorry for ya man |

Well I don't think I can get the Whisper anyway since if NJ considers them real firearms than it having a suppressor would make it a Class 3 BB Gun.

New Jersey Weapons
If I remember right, slingshots are illegal in NJ. So, what would one expect?
That is a sad state of affairs. |
